The 1064 nm wavelength penetrates deep, reaching the deep roots of coarse beard hair.

How laser beard hair removal works
A session takes 15–30 minutes depending on the area. No downtime: you can get back to your day right after the procedure.
- 1. Marking the contour
The doctor examines your skin and hair and agrees the beard line on the cheeks and neck with you.
- 2. Preparation
The area is cleansed and the eyes are protected with goggles. A spatula or ruler helps guide the laser precisely along the contour.
- 3. Laser work
The doctor moves the cooled handpiece outside the line. You feel a short hot sting.
- 4. After the session
Redness and slight swelling around the hairs fade within a few hours, up to 1–2 days. The treated hair falls out within 1–3 weeks.
How many sessions you need
Beard hair is dense and hormone-dependent, so a lasting result usually takes 6–10 sessions. You will notice much less hair after 2–3 procedures.
The interval between sessions is 4–6 weeks. After the course, a maintenance session 1–2 times a year is enough.
Aftercare
For 1–2 days avoid saunas and pools, intense workouts and alcohol-based products on the area. Use SPF every day.
You can shave the area between sessions, but do not pluck with tweezers or wax.

Does laser beard hair removal hurt?
You feel a short hot sting, like the snap of a rubber band. It is more noticeable on the neck and under the jaw than on the cheeks. The handpiece cools the skin, so anaesthesia is usually not needed.
Can I grow a beard in the treated area later?
No, hair in the treated area becomes permanently sparse. That is why the doctor agrees the beard line with you before the first pulse: the contour is marked to suit your face shape and stay within the limits you want to keep.
Does laser help with ingrown hairs on the neck?
