Male skin differs from female skin, so standard laser parameters don’t suit it. In the Men protocol, the energy, depth and sequence of modes are tailored to these features.

Two lasers – erbium Er:YAG and neodymium Nd:YAG – heat tissue at different depths and trigger your own collagen production.

DoesFotona 4D®Men replace injections?

Partly. The laser stimulates your own collagen and tightens the skin without needles or fillers, so it suits those who don’t want injections. It does not restore lost volume – in that case the methods are combined.

Who is the treatment for?

Men with early and moderate signs of ageing: a blurred jawline, nasolabial folds, wrinkles, lax or uneven skin. The treatment is not performed with oncological diseases, inflammation or herpes in the treatment area, a fresh tan, blood clotting disorders, while taking photosensitising medication, or with a tendency to keloid scarring.

How long is recovery?

No lengthy recovery is needed. Mild redness is possible for the first 1–2 days, followed by slight flaking for a few days. You can return to work the next day.

When will the result be visible?

Freshness and smoothness are visible within a few days. The lift builds gradually over 2–3 months; according to the manufacturer, the skin keeps improving for up to 6 months after the treatment.

Does the treatment need to be repeated?

The standard course is 2–3 sessions 4–6 weeks apart. To maintain the result, a maintenance session every six months to a year is enough.

Should I shave before the treatment?

Yes, it’s best to come with a clean-shaven face on the day of your visit: hair absorbs laser energy and can intensify the sensation of heat. The specialist will give final recommendations at the consultation.
