How the treatment worksHAIRestart®
A session takes 30–45 minutes. You can return to your day right after.
- 1. Consultation
The doctor examines the scalp, identifies the cause of hair loss and determines the areas to treat.
- 2. Preparation
Hair should be clean and dry, without hairspray or gel. No anaesthesia is needed.
- 3. Laser work
The doctor passes the laser over the thinning areas. You feel a pleasant warmth.
- 4. After the treatment
Mild redness and scalp sensitivity are possible until the end of the day. After 2–3 days there may be slight flaking.
Laser hair stimulation course
The basic course is 4 sessions 2–3 weeks apart. Depending on the hair’s condition, the doctor may add 1–2 more sessions.
To maintain the result, a repeat session every 6–12 months is recommended.
When the result is visible
Hair grows slowly, so the result is assessed a few months after starting the course. First hair loss decreases, then new fine hair appears and gradually becomes denser.
For an objective assessment, the doctor photographs the thinning areas before and after the course.

Does the laser help with androgenetic alopecia?
Yes, at early and moderate stages, when the follicles are still alive. The laser improves their nutrition and returns them to the growth phase. Where hair has been gone for a long time and the follicles have died, the treatment won’t help.
IsHAIRestart®suitable for women?
Yes. The treatment is performed for both women and men: for thinning hair, a widening parting, or hair loss after childbirth or stress.
Is laser hair stimulation painful?
No. During the treatment you feel warmth; no anaesthesia is needed. In the evening the scalp may be slightly sensitive when washing.
Can I wash my hair after the treatment?
Yes, the same day, with a gentle shampoo and without vigorous massage. If slight flaking appears after a few days, a moisturising scalp product will help.
CanHAIRestart®be combined with other treatment?
Yes. The laser is combined with PRP therapy, scalp products and treatment prescribed by the doctor. The plan is made during the consultation.
Who is the HAIRestart treatment contraindicated for?
The treatment is not performed during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with oncological diseases, scalp infections and inflammation, certain autoimmune diseases, or while taking photosensitising medication.
